At Lunenburg Aikikai we teach traditional Aikido as handed down by the founder. Each class is a mixture of stretching, warm up exercises, and open hand aikido practiced in pairs. We also have a strong weapons program designed to help students better understand movement and timing. We are registered members of the Aikikai Foundation in Tokyo, Japan, as well as the United States Aikido Federation under the direction of Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan in NY,NY. 
 
Please call if you would like to come watch a class or if you are a visitor and would like to come and train. Currently we are located in the Central United Church Hall at 282 Lincoln Street, Lunenburg on Mondays and Thursdays, and the Mahone Bay Centre gymnasium on Saturday mornings.
