Description & Services

Information
The Lunenburg County Hikers (LCH) was formed in April 2019 after a previous "South Shore Hiking Club" faded away. LCH has no formal structure but is organized by a few volunteers. No officers, no membership fees, no official organization.

Lunenburg County Hikers introduces people who live, work and visit our community to the great hiking trails and natural footpaths in Lunenburg County and beyond. LCH creates opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to walk, hike, meet people, learn (skills and safety), explore and enjoy time outdoors

The hikes vary in distance and difficulty. Generally two to two and a half hours in length. Hikers are offered for the most part in Lunenburg County be occasionally in neighboring counties.

Sometimes the hikes are over rough terrain, sometimes along quite roads and smooth trails. If there is sufficient snow, we encourage hikers to bring along snowshoes.
Hours
Hikes genernally start at 9:30 am, unless otherwise noted.
Dates
Hike dates vary but generally 2 to 3 hiker are offered per month
