Information
The Shelburne Kayak Festival will be held August 14 - 16, 2020 and will feature a series of instruction, fun and social activities for people that are already a kayaker, or for those that may be interested in getting started.
A weekend celebration & exploration by sea and on land of Shelburne’s exquisite coastal destination!

SUP Basics
Treasure Hunt and Poker Rally
Coffee, Tea, Hot chocolate (Saturday, Sunday)
Meet and greet BBQ (Friday night)
Supper included in registration at Sandy Point Lighthouse (Saturday night)
Free try-it-Kayak session (Register with MDS Recreation)
Yoga

The event showcases the the town of Shelburne and the surrounding community of Shelburne County and welcomes you to paddle on the 3rd Best Natural harbour in the world, experience the scenic harbour coastline, explore the beauty of Birchtown Bay and enjoy the picturesque Roseway River.
All activities will be centered at Islands Provincial Park to take advantage of the excellent kayaking opportunities that exist around the Park and the inner parts of Shelburne Harbour.
