Information

Located in Dayspring, just outside of Bridgewater, NS, this seasonal park is a place on your travels that you should not miss. The breath-taking views of the Lahave River are a must to see. There are 5km of walking trails which are level and smooth and are accessible to walkers, strollers and wheelchairs. There are picnic tables to sit at and enjoy a lunch as well as many benches through- out the park. Outdoor washrooms are also available as well as ample parking at the park entrance. The inner parking area is open from early spring to late fall, but visitors are welcome all year long.

In the spring you will be able to see hundreds of lady slippers and other wild flowers. In the fall, the changing of the colors are absolutely beautiful. This park has a long history of being an old local settlement, which is indicated by the remains of stone foundations throughout the site.

Special events are held in the park throughout the year and are open to the public. Watch our Recreation Guides for information or call 902-541-1343.

Dogs are welcomed, as long as they are on a leash to be respectful of other park users, and don’t forget to pick up after your furry friend!
