Information
Beautiful 1.8 km long sand beach, at the mouth of the Sable River ; on the lighthouse route in the community of Louis Head; across from Louis Head Campground.
The sandy beach and protected cove make it an ideal launching area for kayaking.
Limited parking.
Lovely place for a walk!
Use at own risk.
Home to the endangered Piping Plover, dogs should be leashed during the nesting and hatching season in late June and early July.
