“The purpose of this guide will be to provide examples and create a greater awareness of accessibility in recreation. We will examine projects that renovated, retrofitted, and enhanced recreational spaces for greater access and inclusion. Best practices, projects, and lessons from around the world will be examined through case studies that show how these spaces were made or will be made accessible. The challenges will be examined along with solutions, and an examination of the value-added to the community through these projects.”
