Daily cooking classes in the main Trout Point Lodge kitchen are held 5 days a week starting at 3:00 p.m. and lasting for 1 ½ to 2 hours.  
 
Themes change daily.  
 
Wild foods walks (Foraging Through the Forest) also take place on a regular basis.

Each summer & fall Trout Point offers guided star gazing from the Lodge's vantage as one of the best places for astronomical observation in North America, with dark & clear night time skies.

The views are breathtaking and can at times include amazing meteor showers as well as the aurora borealis.  
 
Using the Lodge's 10" telescope brings heavenly bodies into even greater clarity.
