Our wharves are much more than "parking" for the impressive fleets of boats that fish from here, they are also the heart of many of our communities. 
 
As with the many wharves that are found in our region, the fishermen you will find are proud of their livelihood and more than willing to answer questions. 
 
Used in the winter for lobster fisherman and in the summer for fishing and harvesting seaweed.
