Information
The Nova Scotia Marathon/Half Marathon & 10K race takes place in the Municipality of Barrington, located on the south west shore of Nova Scotia.
The race begins on Sherose Island and takes you through the business district of Barrington Passage, where you will make the turn onto Cape Sable Island. Runners will follow the route until signage indicates where the half marathon and the 10K runners must take their turn to return to the finish line.
Runners will enjoy this coastal run which is mainly flat with some rolling hills. The Full Marathon will take you to Nova Scotia's most southerly point, The Hawk, and includes some of the most beautiful ocean views around.
This is not a closed course.
The marathon is a qualifier for Boston.

This year, there will be a Youth run! The run will take place at the Sandy Wickens Memorial Ballfield. Kids will lap around the field for either 350m or 700m. Kids will receive a t shirt, bib, and medal for participating.
