The Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund Society was created by Shelley d'Eon of Barrington, in memory of her mother.  
 
Volunteers fundraise to support local cancer patients of the Municipality of Barrington and Town of Clark's Harbour. 
 
The main fundraiser is the annual Walk for a Cause held in September. Events include an auction, tickets on various donated items, sales of flowers and balloons; yellow in support of those fighting cancer and red in memory of those who have passed away.
