Information
ATVANS is the All Terrain Vehicle Association of Nova Scotia. ATVANS represents ATV clubs across the Province.
The four core objectives of ATVANS are:
1.) Educate, inform and organize ATV'ers to preserve and expand ATV recreational opportunities to promote safe family activities.
2.) Promote safety training for ATV'ers of all ages and encourage responsible riding practices portraying ATVs as a legitimate and responsible form of recreation. Encouraging Parental Supervision throughout the youth riding experience, showing respect for the environment and keeping public lands open for multi-use recreation.
3.) To represent the interest of ATV'ers to Government, Land owners, other recreation user groups and the general public.
4.) To respect and assist enforcement agencies in the legitimate course of their duty.
Membership in ATVANS
It is recommended that you become a member of an ATV Club that is affiliated with and includes membership in the All Terrain Vehicle Association of Nova Scotia (ATVANS). ATVANS is recognized by the Province of Nova Scotia as the organization that represents Nova Scotia's ATV community.
