2016 will be the Lockeport Sea Derby's 25th Anniversary!!!  
 
This derby is the only one of its kind in Shelburne County and has been a tremendous success since its start.  
 
The Derby is a non-profit, community based event, with its roots deeply woven into the culture of the Ragged Islands.  
 
By working in conjunction with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans the derby has become a sustainable event that minimizes damage to any local fish populations. 
 
Go fishing for shark, mackerel, or groundfish and visit the beach, or stay on dry land and attend one of the many community activities.
