The abandoned rail section of this trail is currently closed due to the effects of the ocean undermining parts of the trail and causing sink holes. Over two kilometers of the trail remain open for walking.

Old CNR Walking Trail
3.2 km (2 miles) Scenic walk along boardwalk, sand dunes, salt-water marsh and along waterfront. View Traditional Cape Island fishing boats, many native birds and other attractions such as miniature model boat display.
Interpretative signage along the way.
