Information
The New Ross Historical Society was formed on 14 March 1988. Its objective is to collect, document, preserve, interpret and make known the historical and genealogical facts of the New Ross District, formerly known as «Sherbrooke». Holdings include over 400 files on the families of the New Ross District as well as documents, maps, newspaper clippings, journals, diaries, manuscripts, marriage bonds, parish registers, census records, school records, genealogies, local histories, etc.
