Founded in 1954, the club meets Tuesdays at 7:00 pm from September to June. Meetings are held at the MicMac Rod and Gun Club building located at 3085 Hwy 10, Wentzells Lake, Lunenburg County NS.  
 
The clubhouse includes a club room, kitchen, washroom, and a twenty yard (meter) indoor range with four shooting stations. 
 
The Club does not operate during the summer months July and August. 
 
Due to recent Federal changes (2023) to the handgun laws banning further purchase and/or transfer of handguns in Canada prospective members must already hold a restricted license and be in possession of their own handguns. 
 
The club concentrates on recreational shooting to develop accuracy with a handgun with strict attention to firearms safety and proper handling in compliance with Firearms legislation and law.
