Description & Services

Information
The Lunenburg Queens Volunteer Partnership (LQVP) promotes volunteerism, recruits volunteers, and supports not-for-profit organizations and community groups throughout Lunenburg and Queens Counties.

We believe volunteerism is a vital part of building healthy communities and healthy lives. We provide training, tools, and information to anyone involved in volunteering, or interested in becoming involved.

What do we do for the community?

1. Support organizations and community groups. We offer training, resources, and one on one support to help you do what you do best.

2. Support individuals interested in volunteering. We can work with you to find the perfect volunteer opportunity. It can be as simple as suggesting a few organizations that may be of interest to you or we can even meet with you to learn more about your interests, make some suggestions and even go with you to the organizations the first time to see what it's all about. We are like a match making service for volunteers and organizations 🙂

3. We promote volunteerism. We do this in a variety of ways - special projects like our Volunteering Together seniors videos, attending fairs and events, hosting Stronger Together networking events, sharing on social media, monthly Latest & Greatest Volunteer Opportunities newsletter, recognizing volunteers & organizations in the community and so much more!

LQVP is RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS 🙂

If you are interested in volunteering with the LQVP, get in touch with us!

We currently need folks to help during our event booths at community events, newsletter developers, graphic designer/poster designers, poster distribution, social media contributor and more!

If you are passionate about volunteerism and your community, we can find a place to welcome you on our volunteer team 🙂
