Description & Services
Information
Long Lake Camp is about building relationships with cabin mates, cabin staff and especially with Jesus Christ. This fact is incorporated in the program through our games, vespers, fun activities and times spent in the cabins. Our goal is to help each camper grow socially, physically, mentally and most importantly spiritually.
We are an evangelical Christian camp situated on 24 acres of woodland on Long Lake Camp bounded by the Buckfield-Waterloo road, very near the Lunenburg-Queens county line. The Lunenburg-Queens Association of United Baptist Churches owns and operates the camp with the help of local church groups within the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches.
We seek to honour God by providing an atmosphere where campers encounter Jesus Christ and grow as His disciples through wholesome relationships with dedicated Christian leaders, in an inviting outdoor setting, while participating in safe programs and activities relevant to their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual development.
Our facilities include various cabins to house both campers and staff. There are washroom facilities, a playing field, a private beach, trails, an outdoor chapel, and the Lodge which houses the kitchen, dining room, and a rustic stone fireplace.
