The mission of Rosedale it to provide an environment which promotes independence and maximizes the quality of life for elderly persons in need or at risk in Lunenburg County or other areas. 
 
Residents are adults and as such are allowed to make decisions regarding their care in so far as these decisions do not infringe upon the rights of others.  
 
Residents are respected and valued for their uniqueness and individuality.  
 
Care is based on a partnership with the resident and family.
