Information
We are a volunteer fire department serving the community of Walden and district.
Fundraising activities included the following: Bingo, Dart Tournament, Memorial tree, Garden Party, Fish Fry & Raffles.
The department hosts an annual Fire Prevention Week Open House and an Annual Banquet and dance.
The Walden Fire Department building is the only remaining public building in the community.
The present equipment includes; compressor, generator, turn out gear, breathing apparatus, CF600 pumper, Ford F800 pumper, tanker, defibrillator, portable tank, chain saw, back boards, fire extinguishers, ladders, axes and back tanks.
