Welcome to Buchanans House of Music! Owned and operated by local musicians, Paul & Eilidh Buchanan, we are a music education centre and retail store. Located in the heart of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, we have six private instruction rooms as well as a large showroom. 
 
All our staff and teachers are professional musicians who are passionate about music and enjoy sharing their experience and knowledge. We offer individual lessons in fiddle, violin, piano, guitar, bass, mandolin, accordion, saxophone, clarinet, flute, drums, voice, music theory, performance and song writing. Please feel free to contact us and we will gladly set you up with the instructor who fits your personal and musical needs. All ages and abilities are welcome! 
 
We also carry an extensive selection of instruments, books, accessories, PA gear, strings and stands. We have daily, weekly or monthly instrument and PA rentals as well.
