Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a national charitable program that helps financially disadvantaged kids participate in organized sport and recreation. 
 
Based on the Shelburne Chapter guidelines, funds are awarded up to $300 per child/per year, and may be used to cover the cost of registration, equipment, and/or travel.  
 
Applications are confidential. Approval for Canadian Tire Jumpstart program is based on a reference system. Applicants will be asked to provide a reliable reference who is willing to endorse that the applicants need is consistent with the Canadian Tire Jumpstart program guidelines. 
 
Application reviews are on the 15th of March, June, September & December.

*Please note that Shelburne County uses the same application form for Jumpstart and Kids Fair Play FUNd. Applications are reviewed with consideration for approval from one or both programs depending on the request and financial need.
