Information
The Shelburne Karate Club was formed in 1996 by Sensei Brian Dunn and has been going strong ever since.
Chito-Ryu Karate was created by karate master Dr. Tsuyoshi Chitose a M.D. who based his teachings on traditional karate styles and his knowledge of the human body. Together this creates creates a style that follows a person's natural body position yet is based on traditional ancient karate styles.
The Shelburne Karate Club and the study of Chito-Ryu Karate is open to anybody interested in learning karate.
There is no age limit, people of all ages can learn karate, whether it be for the exercise and self-defense or is you want to compete in tournaments - the choice is yours!
Summer classes are held at the Shelburne Community Centre.
