Behind every person with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias, there are hundreds of people dedicated to helping. The Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia is the leading not-for-profit health organization working to improve the quality of life for Nova Scotians affected by Alzheimer's disease or other dementias and advance the search for the cause and cure. 
 
Since 1983, we've been dedicated to providing help for people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias and their caregivers. That help comes in many ways.

You can get involved in lots of ways, including volunteering, fundraising, advocating, and donating. As a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people with dementia, one of our main goals is to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
