Mission Statement:
To provide Intensive and Recreational dance training in a positive and nurturing learning environment where the students’ self-esteem is of paramount importance.
Nova Dance Studio (N.D.S.) opened its doors under the direction of Owner & Artistic Director Erin Kim Turnbull McCall in September 2001. Since it’s inception, N.D.S. has attracted an acclaimed professional staff of international background as well as having produced a number of accomplished teachers of its own.
Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Acro classes at N.D.S. follow the syllabus of the Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association (C.D.T.A.). Our youngest students begin their general dance studies at age three before moving on to more intensive training. By age five dancers can add Hip-Hop classes to their training while some of our students also study Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Flamenco & Character/National as a part of their curriculum.
