I’ve spent a lot of my summers wishing I were somewhere else, and not fully appreciating my home province. When we accepted this position, it was apparent that being South Shore Connectors would not simply be another summer job, but an adventure.

We are both so happy to have had the opportunity to explore the South Shore and all of the outdoor activities and natural beauty it has to offer. From Chester to Yarmouth we stumbled upon some of the most quaint and wonderful hikes, beaches and people. After spending a year travelling abroad, sightseeing in our own backyard was eye-opening and exciting – an adventure that was much overdue.

I can’t think of a better way we could have spent our summer, and I hope that our adventures will inspire you to seek out new and exciting destinations close to home!
